Top Five Wednesday: Books Over 500 Pages

This week's topic is about the top five books I have read that are over 500 pages long. First, I looked at my 'Favorites' list on Goodreads to see if there were books that qualified. Some may be a repeat from past blogposts, but you may not have read all of them yet. Looking through my list of favorites I found I should be reading more lengthy books. I have plenty of books on my TBR that I can grab: Ken Follett's The Pillars of the Earth duology, Ayn Rand, and House of Leaves. I will go from biggest to smallest in page numbers.

1. The Witching hour by Anne Rice. 965 pages.

2. Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling. 652 pages.

3. The Host by Stephenie Meyer. 620 pages.

4. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon. 506 pages.

5. The Signature of All Things. 501pages.

Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Winter TBR

Here are the top ten books on my Winter TBR. Only a few have a winter/Christmas theme. Some books are ARCs I need to read for review and others go along with other reading goals and challenges I've set myself.

Top Five Wednesday: Red Covers

1. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins
Who hasn't read this book yet? Great trilogy.

2. The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown
I remember reading this when it was huge if high school. Takes you on an exciting hunt and I hope to reread it someday.

3. The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood
Great dystopian novel. I think this is a great novel to start your love of Margaret Atwood.

4. A Rose for the Crown by Anne Easter Smith
Was not expecting to like this book so much. I cried a lot. It is pretty sad, but good.

5. Cinder by Marissa Meyer
One of the first YA books I had to order after I borrowed it from the library. Can't wait to read the rest of the series.
